Browser-local tools

Tools and guidance for preparing Enhanced theme files without collapsing browser preview, structural checks, and exact-build runtime evidence into one claim.

Known file checks stay separate from runtime compatibility or safety claims.
Third-party local runtime actions require platform-specific evidence and Restore.
CodexSkin Tools is an independent gallery, browser-local Builder, and structural Validator for Enhanced themes used with the independent Codex Dream Skin local Engine. It helps users review approved records, prepare supported files, inspect known structural rules, and find platform-specific Apply and Restore guidance without presenting the website as part of OpenAI or Codex.
Creating a file, checking its structure, and verifying runtime behavior are different tasks. Builder handles supported fields and local preview. Validator reports known file and package checks. Runtime evidence belongs to an exact platform, Codex build, Engine version, Runtime SHA, artifact hash, date, and recovery record. Separating them prevents a clean structural report from becoming an unsupported compatibility claim.
Under the current True MVP contract, selected images and theme JSON stay in the browser for Builder and Validator processing. The current product does not promise accounts, cloud sync, hosted user-content storage, or persistence after refresh. Browser preview is an approximation and does not directly control or render Codex.
Theme details must show source and provenance, creator or rights holder when known, license, rights status, redistribution decision, review state, available hashes, Structural status, and Runtime status by platform. A theme remains unpublished when these publication inputs are incomplete. Source code licensing does not automatically grant rights to marks, artwork, screenshots, likenesses, or user images.
The current product has no billing, subscription, checkout, account, cloud sync, public Native delivery, enabled analytics, or active Contact submission channel. Public Claims and Release remain gated. These boundaries may change only after the contracts, implementation, privacy disclosures, evidence, and review are updated together.
Start with Gallery for approved records, Builder for a local draft, Validator for file checks, Install for the handoff to the local Engine, and Safety for limits and recovery. Read both status panels and do not skip rights, integrity, or Restore evidence.

The website creates, previews, and structurally validates supported files in the browser. The independent local Engine performs the local Codex connection and theme application workflow.
Publication is withheld when source rights, redistribution permission, artifacts, integrity data, required evidence, QA, or release approval is incomplete.
